As the leaves turn golden and the air gets crisp, November brings with it a special reminder to pause and count our blessings. Here at Mission Doctors Association, we have so much to be thankful for, and at the top of that list is YOU – our incredible supporters and friends.
Â
You know, there’s this beautiful verse in the Bible that always makes me think of our MDA family.
It’s from 1 Thessalonians 5:11:
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
Â
Isn’t that just perfect? Because that’s exactly what you do for us and our Mission Doctors every single day. Your prayers, your donations, your words of encouragement – they all come together to build up this amazing mission of bringing healing and hope to those in need around the world.
Â
Think about it for a moment. Every time you’ve shared our posts on social media, told a friend about our work, or said a prayer for our doctors in the field, you’ve been part of something truly extraordinary. You’ve been the wind beneath the wings of doctors who travel to remote corners of the world, bringing Christ’s love through their medical skills.
Â
So, as we gather around our Thanksgiving tables this year, know that you’re in our hearts and prayers. We’re thankful for each and every one of you.
Â
And speaking of prayers, would you join me in this one?
Dear Lord,
We come to You with hearts overflowing with gratitude. Thank You for the blessing of our Mission Doctors Association family – for every supporter, every friend, and every mission doctor.
Bless our supporters with the joy of knowing they’re making a real difference in the world. Keep our mission doctors safe as they work in Your service, and fill them with Your strength and compassion.
Help us all to continue encouraging one another and building each other up in faith and love.
We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.
Â
From all of us here at Mission Doctors Association, thank you. Thank you for being part of this journey, for your generosity, and for your faithful support. You’re not just changing lives – you’re saving them.
Here’s to another year of working together to bring healing and hope to those who need it most.Â
Â
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
Â
With a grateful heart,
The Mission Doctors Team
