Last weekend, we welcomed Catholic healthcare professionals from across the country to our annual Retreat/Seminar at Loyola Marymount University.

Throughout the weekend, participants came together to pray, reflect, and discern the call to serve with Mission Doctors. From coast to coast, doctors, dentists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants gathered with a shared desire: to put their faith into action by bringing healing and hope to communities where medical care is scarce.

Our time together included practical sessions on the realities of serving in a limited resource setting, moving firsthand accounts from veteran Mission Doctors, and prayerful reflections. Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions, connect with others who share their passion for mission, and learn more about how they could answer Christ’s call to heal the sick.

It was inspiring to see the spirit of service alive in so many hearts—from those just beginning to explore the call to mission, to those already preparing to embark on a new journey. We are deeply grateful to each person who attended and to all of our speakers, staff, and volunteers who made the weekend possible.
