Today, we celebrate God’s perfect plan. And as we celebrate His plan for Mary, conceived without sin on this feast of the Immaculate Conception – we can also pause and consider how our lives are a reflection of God’s will. Will we be prepared to say “Yes!” when God calls us? Will we follow Mary’s example of “Yes” in trust and courage?
We know that when Mary said “yes” to God’s call she had been prepared from the beginning to bring Christ into the world. And her “yes” to God reminds us that grace moves powerfully through those willing to cooperate with God’s plan.
This feast speaks deeply to the mission of Mission Doctors Association. Following the example of Mary, our Mission Doctors answer God’s call with generosity. They say “yes” to serving in places with limited medical resources, to caring for mothers and children, and to bringing healing and hope where it is needed most.
Mary’s life shows us that God prepares each of us for a purpose. Our Mission Doctors use their preparation—their training, faith, and compassion—to meet those in need with Christ-like love.
As we honor the Immaculate Conception, we are invited to consider our own daily “yes,” to God’s plan. Please remember that your support helps make this mission possible. Your prayers and generosity empower our doctors to bring healing to communities around the world.
Thank you for being part of this mission and for making this work possible.
A Prayer for the Solemnity
Mary, full of grace,

And when called, you said – yes to God with a trusting heart.

Live a life that strives to follow God’s will for us.
Bless the Mission Doctors who serve in your Son’s name—
give them strength, compassion, and protection.
Guide all of us to bring Christ’s love to those in need.
Amen.
