Provide Health and Hope from Home
The 2021 ‘Heart for the World’ Gala will now be virtual!
You will be able to attend this virtual event from the comfort and privacy of your own home and enjoy a front-row seat.
Attendees will be able to bid on silent and live auction items, learn more about our organization, and enjoy some entertainment.
In addition, we will present the 2021 Msgr. Anthony Brouwers Award to Dr. Wayne Shandera- epidemiologist, Mission Doctor, medical professor, and concert organist. Dr. Shandera was a pioneer in HIV/AIDS identification and treatment.
Attire is whatever you’re most comfortable in, and can range from pajamas to an evening gown or tuxedo!
Executive Director, Elise Frederick, along with Veteran Mission Doctors and the Board of Directors hopes that you will be able to attend this inaugural virtual event!
Proceeds will benefit the lifesaving work of Mission Doctors.
If you are interested in hosting a “Gala Party” for friends, in your home, please call Elise at (213) 368-1875 for more information.
Join us from home, to be inspired, support life-saving medical care, and sustainable health.
The 2020 Heart for the World Gala was a huge success!
Thank you to the Mission Doctors Auxiliary and everyone who made this wonderful night possible!
During this special celebration, the Msgr. Anthony Brouwers Award, named after our founder, was presented to Dr. Pat and Mrs. Nora Ryan. Pat and Nora are veteran Mission Doctors and long-time Mission Doctors Board Members. We are grateful for their faithful dedication and we were honored present this award to them during this special night.
