“…we are facing a global health emergency that is like nothing we have seen in our lifetimes.
But our hope is in the Lord and we know that he will give us his grace and mercy in our time of need.”
-Archbishop José H. Gomez

President of US Conference of Catholic Bishops
Mission Doctors has responded by connecting with the Bishops and hospital administrators to find ways to support their efforts to prepare for coronavirus. We created the coronavirus emergency fund, and every dime raised goes directly to support these needs. You have already provided funds for PPE, soap, and other essentials for our mission partners.
While, like so many other organizations we have had to cancel many in-person events, we have also found new ways to connect, from Facebook Live interviews to virtual events for those considering service, and gatherings for veteran Mission Doctors from around the US.
We continue to keep you and your loved ones in our prayers and are sharing with you events like the Holy Father’s Rosary from Fatima. Please follow us on Facebook so we can continue to share these resources.
As our Churches begin the careful steps to reopen, we all find joy in the opportunity to celebrate and receive the Eucharist. May we be strengthened by Christ to care for each other in these challenging times.
Please visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website and that of your local Health Department to learn more about the virus and what we we can all do to stay healthy and prevent the spread of the disease.
Additionally, please join us in praying with Pope Francis to Our Lady, Health of the Sick for protection.
